Loving Across Borders: Our First Two Months as a Long Distance Married Couple

If someone had told me that right after saying "I do," I would be living thousands of kilometers away from my husband, I probably wouldn’t have believed it. But as we all know, life moves in the most unexpected ways. For Khairu and me, our first week as a married couple was also our last week together for a long time. Right after our akad nikah (wedding solemnization), we had to go our separate ways for work. Khairu flew to Myanmar , and I stayed right here in Palembang . That's how our long-distance marriage began. The Reality Check: Tears and the First Farewell The moment he left, the reality hit me—hard. Being a wife who lives far away from her husband is not easy at all. The first week was the absolute hardest. It was filled with tears, a mind that couldn’t focus, and emotions that came rushing whenever I saw something that reminded me of our short but beautiful moments together. Everything felt overwhelming, as if my heart was still trying to understand how quickl...

The Love I Never Expected, But Always Needed: It's True Love

Who would have thought that I would find my true love this quickly? It feels like just yesterday I wrote about how humans fall in love in three phases — and somehow, I’ve already reached the final one: true love. I still don’t know how to express it perfectly, but my heart is overflowing with gratitude. Allah has written this story for me in such a beautiful, unexpected way. I even wrote about that moment in my story “One Fine Day” , our very first meeting in real life. I also wrote about how he proposed in “A Long-Distance Love, Written by Allah.” And now, here I am writing the next chapter: the journey leading up to our wedding day . So, enjoy the story. At first, everything felt sudden. We originally planned to get married in April 2026, but when we tried choosing a suitable date, nothing ...

A Little Story Behind My Latest Read: Jalan Nabi 3

I got this book in a very special way — from my husband. He loves reading so much that buying books is basically his love language. One day, while we were busy preparing for our wedding, a package arrived at my house. Inside were three books he had ordered. Surprisingly, two of them were Jalan Nabi 3 . He smiled, took one for himself, and handed the other to me. At first, we started reading it together. But of course, his reading speed was like lightning, and mine… well, more like morning traffic. Soon enough, life got busy, and we ended up reading the same book in different places and different times. And Alhamdulillah — I finally finished it! So, let’s talk about the book. About the Book Title: Jalan Nabi 3 – Legasi Purna Sang Nabi Semesta Authors: Tim Jalan Nabi Editors: Mukhlisin Rabusin & Abdullah Farid Publisher: Mata Air Published: October 2025 Size: 14.8 x 21 cm Pages: 297 Originally written in Indonesian, Jalan Nabi 3 is a religious book focusing o...
