Semaian Kalbu (POEM)

Semaian Kalbu

Karya: Nur Zahwa

Butir-butir kasih berhamburan
Menerpa sinar dan kekeringan
Biji-biji bernas menetas ketika disemai
Kotiledon mulai terangkat bak kecambah yang memanjang
Hati kecil berkata namun tak bisa terucap
Terucap akan lisan maupun tulisan
Ketika cinta mulai menggeliat
Mimpi-mimpi pun telah terjaga
Kasih sayang bertaburan memenuhi pakarangan
Diberi pupuk perhatian yang berawal dari pertemuan
Terpapar panas hujan
Terpapar siang dan malam
Terpapar lika-liku hama yang siap menyerang
Namun, semua itu bisa terlewatkan
Dengan berbagai siraman kalbu didapatkan
Meskipun gen masih berperan
Tapi pengadaptasian masih dilakukan
Hari demi hari tak terasa
Waktu demi waktu telah terbiasa
Tumbuh berkembang dengan bentuk yang sempurna
Bentuk yang akan menjadi pedoman dan idaman
Dan kemudian hari akan berbuah
Berbuah manis, berbuah indah
Yang akan dipetik dan dirasakan oleh semua orang

A Long-Distance Love, Written by Allah

Every great story begins with something small—an encounter, a message, or even a shared screen. Ours began quietly too, not with fireworks, but with formulas and Zoom meetings. It was 2021, and I was enrolled in a Differential Equations class at Universitas Sriwijaya. Everything was held online due to the pandemic, and that’s when I first saw his name pop up—Khairu Agus Wijaya, a calm and focused student from Merauke, Papua, who was joining through the Merdeka Student Exchange Program (PMM). We weren’t the only ones with cameras on, and there were no breakout rooms, but there were small-group discussions that consisted of four people. But somehow, amidst the grid of faces and silence between lectures, we began to notice each other. Our first interaction wasn’t even in Indonesian—it was in Mandarin, a language we both happened to be learning. That small spark led us to chat more through the class WhatsApp group. We began exchanging ideas about assignments, encouraging each other before...

My Journey as Adam Lane in An Elmwood Trail

If you had told me I’d be driving through a dark forest, solving high-level riddles, hacking into secret files, and being emotionally tangled in a missing person case—all from my phone—I might’ve laughed. But An Elmwood Trail , created by Techyonic, has given me an experience that’s deeper and more human than I ever expected from a mobile game. It’s not just a game—it’s a full-blown narrative adventure where you live the role , not just play it. In this interactive mystery thriller, I stepped into the shoes of Adam Lane , a detective with a complicated life—balancing work, fatherhood, and a fragile relationship with my wife, Amanda Lane . Our teenage son, Jim Lane , is smart, independent, and a bit too brave for his age. While trying to solve the town’s biggest mystery—the disappearance of 18-year-old Zoey Leonard —I was also trying to hold my family together. The town of Riverstone, surrounded by the haunting Elmwood Forest , is a beautifully eerie place. It’s been three weeks s...

💖 My Fifteen Stars: A Farewell to Secondary 1B

Becoming a Form Teacher at SIS Palembang this year has been one of the most unexpected, heart-warming, and profoundly meaningful chapters of my entire teaching journey. It was a step into the unknown. I walked into this school as a first time international school teacher. hmm of course nervous, excited, and constantly wondering: Would I fit in? Would I connect with the students? Would I even be able to do this well? Then I met Secondary 1B. They are just fifteen students, six wonderful girls and nine dynamic boys. But somehow, they manage to fill the room with enough personality, noise, colour, and glorious chaos to feel like thirty. They didn’t know it on that tentative first day, and certainly, I didn't either, but they were about to become one of the most significant and meaningful experiences of my life. The Dynamics of Our Little Cosmos Our classroom quickly evolved into its own unique cosmos, a space where every student held a distinct gravitational pull. The nine boys of ...
